Rumors are coming out that the 18 year old Spanish Phenom, Ricky Rubio will stay in his team in Spain (DKV Joventut). Ricky Rubio was the number 5 pick overall of the 2009 NBA draft of the Minnesota Timberwolves and followed by the number 6 pick overall Jonny Flynn. Ricky Rubio and Jonny Flynn both playing in point guard position for there respective teams before drafted in the NBA.
How come Ricky Rubio is staying in his team in Spain when he was already drafted in the NBA is one of the questions coming out on basketball enthusiast minds. Is it because of the weather, the playing time that he will get from his team knowing that Jonny Flynn also a rookie is on his team or maybe because of the buy out?
Ricky Rubio will pay $6million dollars whenever he will come to NBA while while he will only be payed $5.7million in his first two years if he will play in Minnesota Timberwolves.
